no "last supper" for me

I have this really bad habit of having "last hurrahs" prior to making any changes in my life....

If I need to start saving money, I have 1 last spending spree; if I need to start back to school and studying, I get a lot of TV/computer time in; and in this instance, if I am starting a diet, I always have a "last supper".....ya know, full of all the stuff I "can never ever eat again"

So what do I gain? Lets see, probably at least a pound, indigestion, and a sense of deprivation at what I can "never" have again....and thats very unhealthy.

I am going to eat sensibly today, but really jump in with the exercise tomorrow. No more swearing off certain foods either, just gotta eat sensibly, but lets face it, the minute you say "no more brownies"...what is ALL you can think of? I will use common sense and eat sensible portions and not act as if the world will end if I eat a brownie or a cookie....will they be part of my daily diet, no, but I cant avoid them forever.
